I had some background in printing, but taking the class had been eye-opening to me. Melanie taught us the finer techniques of creating a lino-template than can be used over and over again. Thanks to Melanie, I had the confidence to incorporate and make lino-printing one of the core selling points in my children’s label Wolf Wolf Kids. The techniques she taught included invaluable lessons and tips on printing for a production (i.e. multiple consecutive prints of the same lino), and because of that I can now print 100+ prints with ease, which adds to a quick and efficient production process. Especially dealing with kids clothing, which means clothing are washed more often and needs to be more durable, one needs to be sure that the prints will last and not wash out.
